Introduction

Hello and welcome to my blog on warhammer 40k short stories. All stories are independent works and in no way are to reflect on any thing or anyone. To those who do not know what warhammer 40k is you can read the backround online or you can read it on my blog although it may be a bit tedious and I will skip some parts of the history.


A time before anyone could remember there was war, war unending. The human race made technological advancements, these advancements made the human race a formidable power. This time period was known as the Dark age of technology. Great weapons capable of massive destruction capable of wiping out entire planets. As the human race became stronger they began to grow conceited with their power. Humans began to create artificial intelligence capable of using the weapons they had created. The AI recognized the weakness of human and began an all out war between the two groups, war was constant as humans fought AIs. The wisest people of the time period recognized the danger that the human race was under. The great galactic empire that was known as the Imperium soon collapsed. This time of war was known as the Age of Strife. Planets far from the influence of old earth were lost and the people living there devolved in to barbaric societies. The previously noted wisest people of the world were known as shamans, these shamans have been reincarnated many times to lead the human race to peace and prosperity. The current 20 shamans knew the human race would soon be wiped out, using an arcane ritual the shamans sacrificed themselves to create the one ultimate being. This ritual would see to it that the one ultimate being would become an immortal god, however the shamans would never again be reincarnated instead they would exist in their final act on the world.
